Pike Creek is an upscale, residential community of about 20,000 people located in New Castle County about 30 minutes from the city of Wilmington and adjacent to Hockessin. The community was established in the 1960s with the development of subdivisions near the intersection of New Linden Hill and Polly Drummond Roads.
