On the western side of Pike Creek, explorers can tackle the Tri-Valley Trail, running from Judge Morris State Park, through Middle Run Preserve to White Clay Creek State Park. Middle Run is also popular with birdwatchers. Average temperatures in Pike Creek range from the low-30s in December and January to the mid-70s in July and August.
